"When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower"
Alexander den Heijera
Too many children are not being effectively supported to access education within traditional mainstream settings.
Undiagnosed learning barriers and unmet needs can lead to challenges in the classroom, affecting both individual progress and the wider learning environment.
As a result, some students are too often labelled as ‘disruptive’. Many spend extended periods in isolation, missing valuable learning time and becoming increasingly disengaged during crucial stages of their education.

We can help!
ALP England was established to address this need, supporting primary and secondary-aged students across Bristol, Gloucester, South Gloucestershire, and Bath and North East Somerset.
We provide a high-quality alternative that complements the work of special schools, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), and other alternative provisions, helping to bridge gaps in support where they arise.
All our ALP settings are led by qualified teachers with extensive experience in supporting students with additional needs and managing complex behaviours, guiding them towards positive and sustainable outcomes.
